K. Online Journals

Free, accessible online journals are often not readily available; usually some kind of subscription is required for access.  They are excellent sources of reliable and detailed information on a variety of subjects.  Law and religion journals are not uncommon and are relatively easy to find.

Some journals available for free or via subscription

  • Journal of Church & State
    This journal is the product of the JM Dawson Institute of Church-State Studies at Baylor University.  It is a compendium of articles on church-state relations inside and outside the United States throughout history.  It is available via eLibrary.
  • Journal of Constitutional Law
    This journal is the product of the University of Pennsylvania law school.  It examines civil rights issues in the context of the Constitution of the United States, including religious issues.
  • Rutgers Journal of Law and Religion
    This journal is the product of the Rutgers law school.  Its purpose is to examine the impacts of law on various religions and their recipricol impacts.
